Membership categories
YASAS is a network of regional, national, and transnational Young Academies, as well as scientific organisations and societies representing early- and mid-career researchers across the wider European region.
YASAS welcomes organisations that represent early- and mid-career researchers from across this region.
How to become a Member
YASAS membership comprises two categories:
Full members: Regional, national or transnational Young Academies active in the wider European region.
Associate members: Scientific networks or societies representing early- and mid-career researchers and active in the wider European region.
Application procedure
Orgaisations interested in applying for YASAS membership are invited to contact YASAS Board at @yasas.eu. The application must include the following:
A short description of your organisation
Your Statutes
Information of your membership election and formation procedures
A statement confirming your commitment to uphold the YASAS Statutes
Applications are assessed by the YASAS Executive Board, which may request additional information or supporting documents if needed. The Executive Board decides on membership by evaluating, among other criteria, the scientific standing of the applying organisation.
