YASAS members are regional, national and transnational Young Academies and scientific network organizations and societies that represent early- and mid-career researchers in the wider European region.

YASAS currently has 23 member organisations, comprising 21 Full Members and 2 Associated Members.

How to Become a Member

YASAS welcomes organisations representing early- and mid-career researchers across the wider European region.

Associate Membership

Scientific networks or societies representing early- and mid-career researchers and active in the wider European region may apply for associate membership.

Full members

Regional, national or transnational Young Academies active in the wider European region may apply for full membership.

Application Requirements

Orgaisations interested in applying for YASAS membership are invited to contact YASAS Secretariat at xyz@yasas.eu. The application for membership must comprise the following:

  • A short description of your organisation

  • Your statutes

  • Information of your membership election and formation procedures

  • A statement confirming your commitment to uphold the YASAS statutes.

All applications for membership are assessed by the YASAS Executive Board, who may request additional information or documents in support of the application if needed. The Executive Board takes the decision on the applying organisation’s membership by evaluating, among else, the good scientific standing of the applying organization.
